1 Introduction
This book is an adaptation of three open textbooks:
- World Religions by Florida State College at Jacksonville. The work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license. Chapters in this book from World Religions include: All chapters.
- World Religions: The Spirit Searching by Jody Ondich. The work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution Non-Commercial Share Alike 4.0 license. Chapters in this book from World Religions: The Spirit Searching include: Chapter 14: Jainism.
- Zombie Apocalypse: Holy Land, Haiti, Hollywood by Terry Rey. The work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license. Chapters in this book from Zombie Apocalypse include: Part 2: Haiti, Chapters 5-8.
Selected chapters from the three books were combined and reorganized. Some material was also reformatted to ensure a standard look for the whole book, and any broken links were checked or removed.
Because the three books used different citation systems, the editors of this adapted version have opted to leave each system in place. Thus, some citations will be at the end of the book and some will be at the end of the chapter.
